Phase 1 Works

Installation of Road 9 to accommodate nine units for show homes. Works included topsoil strip and reduced level excavation, supply and install foul & storm drainage, storm drainage outfall to new infiltration trench, foul drainage to the outfall on R125 at Moulden Bridge, installation of new water main, installation of base & binder tarmacadam and in-situ kerbing.

Phase 2 Works

Continuation of all access roads for development including topsoil strip & reduced level excavation, foul & storm drainage, water main, construction of access roads including imported hardcore filling, tarmacadam base, binder and surface course, installation of infiltration trenches and attenuation tanks for development.

Precast Concrete Culvert Works at Moulden Bridge

Installation of precast concrete culvert 5m x 5m to facilitate the diversion of existing river and construction of new roundabout/major junction on R125 live carriageway at Moulden Bridge. These works involve the full construction of a temporary diversion carriageway to enable the existing road to be excavated, culvert installed and reinstated.

The existing water mains, telecoms, foul drainage will all be diverted around the culvert to allow for installation. The R125 will be open to live vehicular traffic throughout the duration of the works.

The temporary road constructed to divert live traffic from the works will be removed once the main R125 is returned to full operation.
